We take individual privacy seriously. This Statement explains MySnapshot’s policies and practices for our internet and cookie privacy policy.

This includes how all data is shared by visitors with MySnapshot, either directly through the use of our services or via email and provides an explanation to what happens to any personal data that is shared with MySnapshot through our services, website or via email.

We respect your privacy and we promise, in accordance with the GDPR:

1. Information collection


In order to provide a better service to you, we may collect information when you register with us, use our services, attend our functions, or communicate with us.

As part of our mission to facilitate MySnapshot, we collect information and maintain a database. In the process, we also collect personal information of your visits to our Website and the resources that you access including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblog statistics and other communication data.

Any information that may be provided by completing any forms or using MySnapshot’s website, including but not limited to registering to receive information such as a newsletter, using the website, and when contacting us by sending a message through the website contact page. Any Survey information under your authorisation, that may be needed to deliver our service, including the option of having your information obtained from your data provider.

If specific information is requested but not supplied, we may be unable to provide the requested service.

We only retain personal data for so long as it is necessary. However a copy may be archived indefinitely.

MySnapshot may also collect information provided when you communicate with us.

2. Use of information


The purposes for which information may be used by us in and outside the United Kingdom include:

  • to give you with information requested from us relating to our products or services
  • to provide information on related products which we feel may be of interest to you processing applications

This means we only process and hold data related to purchases and subsequent support related to those purchases, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

We may conduct direct marketing via fax, email, direct mail, telephone and other means of communication, or send e-newsletters to you.

You may choose not to receive promotional materials, by withdrawing your consent, and we will cease to do so, without charge.

MySnapshot does not reveal any identifiable information about individuals to any advertisers, but it may be required that on occasion, we provide advertisers with aggregate statistical information about our website visitors.

MySnapshot will not disclose any information obtained from a data provider under your consent to any third parties.

2.1 The retention period for all data identified is after the duration of the Term plus 12 (twelve) months.

We will keep the personal data we hold confidential but may provide information to:

Cookies are commonly used to facilitate transmission and to provide more useful features. It is a piece of data stored in your computer.

We use these devices to find out more about the use of our websites and user preferences, in order to improve our services. This statistical data does not identify any personal details.

It is used by us to analyse how visitors interact with the Website so that we can continue to improve our understanding of visitor interests and further develop and improve this Website. We note traffic, pages visited and time spent.

If you agree to use of cookies, we may link the information to you, so that you may receive information more suited to your interests.

4.1. We use an email delivery system to send emails that you have agreed to receive. Pixels tags and cookies are used in those emails and at our website to help us measure the effectiveness of our communications and how visitors use our website.

MySnapshot is committed to ensuring that your information is secure and have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

All computer systems are placed in restricted areas, with access controlled buildings, and passcode protected devices/computers where only authorised employees can access personal data. These employees are trained on our privacy policies.

By submitting your personal data, you agree to this storing and processing. MySnapshot will take all reasonable measures to make sure that all data is treated securely and in agreement with this privacy policy.

Should you share any data with us electronically, we cannot guarantee the security of this data, and therefore this transfer is done at your own risk.

The responsibility of keeping your password confidential will be that of you as the user.

Hyperlinks to other websites are provided for your convenience. You will leave our website for another location that is not controlled by us.

Our privacy policies do not apply to other websites. Please refer to the privacy policies of the other websites.

We do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies whatsoever as we have no control over them.

We may update this Statement. We suggest you review our Privacy policy from time to time.

8. Data processor and transfer of personal information outside the EU


We use external companies for maintaining the technical operation of our website and services. These companies are data processors for the personal data for which we are the data controller.

By accepting this Policy, you agree that we may also allow the data for which you are the data controller to be processed by the same data processors.

The data processors must act solely in accordance with instructions from us. By accepting the Policy, you authorise us to give such instructions to the data processors to process data in accordance with the Policy and for the purpose of using our website and services.
