This assessment is based on our Network Manager Blueprint. It consists of nine competencies we’ve identified from our 20+ years of experience.
Our goal is to improve your capacity for building a network that creates real change and greater equity. And for you to feel confident leveraging the power of networks to address the issues that you are passionate about.
Take the assessment to:
Reflect on what to prioritize to improve your competence as an effective network manager for social change work.
Shift your perspective on the world of network building.
Benchmark your current ability to draw upon the seven key elements (communications grid, shared resources, feedback mechanisms, social ties, common language, clear vision, leaders) and two essential conditions (network boundaries and network protocols) necessary for sustaining effective advocacy networks.
After you’ve finished the assessment, you’ll receive your Network Manager Score via email with your reflections.
It will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. As with most things, the more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it.

✍️ Reflect on your score and make notes on why you gave that score
The goal here is awareness + nothing more! With an awareness of where you are now, you can identify your next best steps.
Even better? Your future self will be able to recall, reflect, and celebrate the progress you’ve made as time goes on.
